I was under `Dr Katy Ammar in July 2011 for a prolapsed bowel repair., which I had suffered with for nearly a year and was very uncomfortable. I found that she listened to me and talked me through what would happen during operation very clearly ... she came to see me before the operation and I felt confident and safe in her hands...the morning after my operation she came in although it was her day off to check on me and discharge me...she is a very caring doctor..I have been for my check up,and can say my life has improved greatly following the operation I am very happy with the care I recieved .. thank you

I have recently undergone routine procedure for a laparoscopy, I was consulted by Miss Katy Ammar who was very professional and curtius,she was very informative and reassuring in her approach which made me feel I was in good hands. After the surgey she was again very informative and caring in her approach I feel there was nothing left out for me to question she had covered everything I could possibly think of and more. I strongly advise that any post-graduates who want to be the best in their profession seek an opportunity to work with Miss Katy Ammar and for those who have lost faith in the NHS seriously need to experience the professional and caring approach of Miss Katy Ammar. I was referred to Katy Ammar by the community midwives after being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I was 16 weeks pregnant at the time and had also been suffering with my asthma. She was very reassuring and spent a considerable amount of time with me explaining all aspects of this condition. She was knowledgeable and approachable while maintaining her professionalism. I was reviewed again today and despite the clinic being very busy, she was able to give me enough time to go through all aspects of my health and pregnancy. I would not hesitate in recommending this doctor.
